Phronix never collects your card number, CVV, PIN, expiry date, banking credentials, OTPs, or transaction history. Only the name of the card product you own is stored — never any sensitive financial data.
By downloading, installing, or using the Phronix mobile application (“Phronix”, “the App”, “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Athiththan (individual developer, operating as Phronix — not a registered company), based in Sri Lanka (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
You acknowledge that these Terms are formed electronically and that electronic acceptance constitutes a valid and binding agreement in accordance with the Sri Lanka Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006.
The App is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Your download and installation of the App through Google Play is additionally subject to Google Play’s Terms of Service. Your download and installation of the App through the Apple App Store is additionally subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Phronix. Credit and debit card offers — the subject matter of the Service — are financial products that require legal capacity to contract, which under Sri Lanka law requires a minimum age of 18.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will suspend and delete their account without notice.
Phronix does not implement independent age verification at registration. By proceeding to create an account, you make a self-declaration of age eligibility. If we have reasonable cause to believe you do not meet the minimum age requirement, we may request evidence of eligibility and may suspend access pending such verification.
Phronix is a card offer discovery tool that helps users identify which bank card may offer the best available promotion or discount at a given merchant or category at a given time.

Phronix is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future; any such change will be communicated with advance notice.
Your privacy and the processing of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
Phronix processes personal data in accordance with the Sri Lanka Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA). Details of what data we collect, how it is used, how long it is retained, your rights as a data subject, and how to exercise those rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.
You must sign in with a Google account to use Phronix. By doing so, you grant Phronix access to your Google account email address and display name as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google account. You agree to notify us immediately at athiththan.kathir@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the App — see our Account Deletion page for full instructions. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice.
Phronix stores only the name of the card product you add (for example, “HNB Visa Signature Credit Card”). We do not collect, request, or store:

Phronix displays bank card offer information for convenience and informational purposes only. The recommendations provided by the App are not financial advice. Phronix is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or institution.
Offer information in Phronix is sourced from publicly available bank and merchant promotions. We make reasonable efforts to keep this data current and accurate, but we do not guarantee that:

Phronix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any bank, card network, or merchant listed in the App. All bank, card network, and merchant names and logos are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the App is solely for the purpose of identifying the relevant institutions and offers and does not imply ownership, affiliation, endorsement, or partnership.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Phronix grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
The App, its design, source code, and the compilation and presentation of offer and merchant data are owned by or licensed to Athiththan (Phronix) and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including the Sri Lanka Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003. Phronix claims intellectual property protection over the selection, organisation, and presentation of offer and merchant information — not over the underlying factual content of individual offers or the names and trademarks of the relevant banks and merchants.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.
You do not submit any original content to Phronix. The card product names you enter are standard financial product names and are not your original works. We do not claim ownership over any data you provide.
Phronix uses the following Google Firebase services, all governed by Google’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy:

Your personal data is stored and processed on Google’s servers, primarily in the United States. This involves a cross-border transfer of personal data outside Sri Lanka. This transfer is conducted under appropriate safeguards — specifically, the Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into Google’s Data Processing Addendum. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights under the Sri Lanka Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Athiththan (Phronix) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim; or (b) LKR 10,000.
For the avoidance of doubt, this limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law as described in Section 11.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Athiththan (Phronix) from any claim, demand, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
Phronix shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, telecommunications infrastructure failures, internet service disruptions, power outages, or the unavailability of third-party services including Google Firebase.
Where such an event continues for more than 30 consecutive days, you may terminate your use of the Service by deleting your account.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by Phronix in enforcing any right under these Terms, and no course of dealing between the parties, shall constitute a waiver of that right. Any waiver by Phronix must be given expressly and in writing.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Phronix concerning the Service and supersede all prior representations, understandings, and agreements between the parties relating to the same subject matter.

For material changes that affect your rights or introduce new obligations, continued use of the App after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
